Weekly Money Checkup

I hope everyone is having a great week.  How many of you get tomorrow off?  If you do, enjoy it and if you don’t try not to get jealous of those that do.  Most important for both groups is to remember that this is veterans day and every vet around has made an incredible sacrifice.  Thank them.  If you don’t know any, Bucksome Boomer is one, so head over to her blog and thank her.

1. The most I’ve spent this last week was on a hotel for the trip, it cost $350 or so.

2. Today I feel pretty good towards money.  I’m about to pay all my bills and I get paid friday!

3. Money can’t buy happiness. One free/inexpensive thing I did last week that made me happy was watched movies with my roommate sunday afternoon.

4. I will consider this week a success if I am productive on friday.  (does anyone else have thursday off?)

5. My go-to recipe depends on what I’ve got in the kitchen and what season it is.  I usually have all the stuff for shrimp pesto pasta, so lets go with that.

Weekly Money Check-Up

I’m kind of a political junkie, so I know I’ll be up late watching returns from around the country tonight.  Lets see what happens, shall we?

1. The most I’ve spent this last week was on Rent, as always on the first of the month.

2. Today I feel curious towards money.  I’m debating whether or not I should send in another large debt payment or save the padding.

3. Money can’t buy happiness. One free/inexpensive thing I did last week that made me happy was went hunting.

4. I will consider this week a success if I  keep my focus and get done what I need to get done.

5. If I could grow one thing, it would be probably sweet corn, but If I had the space to grow things, I’d be doing much more than just growing things on that space.

Weekly Money Check-Up 5

1. The most I’ve spent this last week was on my car payment. boo.

2. Today I feel relieved (?) towards money.

3. Money can’t buy happiness. One free/inexpensive thing I did last week that made me happy was played apples 2 apples at a friends house.

4. I will consider this week a success if I have a successful elk hunt.

5. If I could could quit my job for a month and travel throughout one country, I would choose Not sure – I’d like Brazil, Russia or the US. There are a lot of things I’ve never seen in the US, although I know this question is meant to get answers of countries abroad.

Also, Thanks to My pretty pennies for doing this every week, and thanks for the picture as well!  If you do ever see this MPP, i’m curious to see who participates in this every week.

Weekly Money Check-Up

There has been a lot going on this week, and unfortunately, it’s not over yet.  However, yesterday I had an event for my job that happened to be in my town, and I got to feel what it was like to not drive 50 miles for work for the first time in over a year.  Imagine that, and it was fun!

1. The most I’ve spent this last week was on rent, $375.

2. Today I feel alright (would be good, but I still need to make a snowball payment towards my student loan) towards money.

3. Money can’t buy happiness. One free/inexpensive thing I did last week that made me happy was unfortunately, I did nothing but work and drive to work last week.

4. I will consider this week a success if I finish this project and catch up on all my side work.

5. The TV show I am most excited about this season is  I don’t have a tv, so nothing really.

Have a happy week!

How have you been doing with money lately?

Weekly Money Check Up

Another weekly money check-up from My Pretty pennies.  I didn’t get as much writing as I wanted in this weekend because I took a mini-day trip.  I’ll show some pictures Thursday.

1. The most I’ve spent this last week was on $315, to my truck loan.

2. Today I feel fine (most of my bills are due this week, so semi-adverse to spending this week) towards money.

3. Money can’t buy happiness. One free/inexpensive thing I did last week that made me happy was looking at nifty geologic features.

4. I will consider this week a success if I pay all my bills and sleep enough.

5. One of my most memorable birthdays was the one where I played laser tag. I think I was in middle school.  (I’m typically not too big on birthdays – these days a successful birthday is one where it passes and no one notices and hassles me to do stuff.)

Weekly Money Check-Up

My Pretty Pennies does this every week, and I try to do it every week as well.  If you’re interested, you can head over to her website and copy the questions to your blog and post!

1. The most I’ve spent this last week was on $300, on a payment to my student loan.  I could have this paid off at the end of the month.  I’m really hoping that I do.

2. Today I feel fine (I dont know if I’ll ever answer this question differently) towards money.

3. Money can’t buy happiness. One free/inexpensive thing I did last week that made me happy was crap! I cant think of anything that I did besides walking the dog.  I want to go out and watch the wild horses this weekend though.

4. I will consider this week a success if I make it through the weekend with the $78 I have left in my account.

5. My first job was a Lifeguard.  I did it in high school and through college.  It’s nice cause you don’t have to work that hard, you get a lot of breaks that are good for studying and it typically pays well.
