I swiped this from My Pretty Pennies (who has an awesome blog, btw) and thought the Monday Money Check-Up was a good idea. I dont know if I’ll do it every week, but I figured this would be something interesting to do every once in a while.
1. The most I’ve spent this week (so far) was on: Gas on Sunday, $ 44.00
2. Today I feel hopeful (I’m trying to make it the whole week on $150) about money.
3. Money can’t buy happiness. One free/inexpensive thing I did last week that made me happy was: Hiked some 14ers.
4. I will consider this week a success if I: Finish edits on my thesis and clean the house this weekend.
5. The next trip I have planned is: Currently undecided, but I recently found out I have a free ticket that will need to be used by Feb of 2010, so I better think of somewhere. Current thoughts: Maine, Oregon, Nashville.

@ Jeff – Thanks! As for the trips nope. I have two friends living in Europe so that might be one trip. My bestie just got a job in Atlanta so that might be a long weekend, I got another friend in the Middle East (might tie that into a the Europe trip) and my dad lives in China. Writing that out now it seems like a lot – better get started planning!
1. The most I’ve spent this last week was on a friend’s belated birthday brunch, 3 full plates of food and that was just for me, and birthday girl not paying for herself, ran up to $55. Totally worth it.
2. Today I feel good, but unsteady as I usually subconsciously am, towards money.
3. Money can’t buy happiness. One free/inexpensive thing I did last week that made me happy was watching the entire 2nd season of The Shield in one sitting, go me!
4. I will consider this week a success if I do exactly what I did last week, cause last week was a pretty damn good success, meaning I worked, and I love working.
5. The next trip I have planned is a mini road trip up to the Bay Area to celebrate another birthday, more food! MoneyHangry recently blogged about Some Things In Life Are Free

Happy almost birthday jenna! And good luck with the trip planning. Are you planning on doing all of those trips in a row?
