Well, After a week my contest for the book Spent: Memoirs of a Shopping Addict has ended. I didnt get as much interest in the contest as I thought I would. Oh well, if no one wants a free copy of the book, thats fine with me. Better odds for the two of you that did sign up. (Disclosure: I got the book for free from Mint.com). I decided to read it, review it and then give it away. Also a bit about my methodology for the contest. There were only two entries and I wanted a random number, so I had the computer decide a number between 1-10. My first commenter was assigned all the odd numbers, and my second commenter was assigned all the even numbers. (Thank you to those that participated, I hope to have another give-away soon)

Also, I share your letdown on blog giveaways. I’m always surprised at the number of people who don’t participate! Frankly, I enter giveaways every chance I get. Even if it’s not something I’m crazy about owning, I’ll enter with the thought that I can do my own giveaway with it (in the case of books, since I don’t keep them for myself), sell it or donate it. But I gotta say – I can’t be too disappointed that so few people signed up for yours since I won!
